Noosa: Flathead sand whiting and bream from the canal bridges and towards Noosa Sound. Whiting also from the Yacht Club and near the ferry stretch. A 53cm golden trevally taken and a few good tailor in the lower river. A 44cm jack on Tuesday on a Zerek Fish Trap at the start of the run in between the lakes.
Maroochydore: Good whiting throughout the lower reaches. Tailor to 55cm in the Cod Hole. Lots of average bream and flathead along the sand bank edges from the Maroochy Waters Canals and Chamber's Island, through to Godfrey's Rd. Worth targeting a few Mangrove Jack in the creeks and around jetties and structures in the lower river and Cod Hole. Mud Crabs potted througout the river.
Mooloolaba: Fish the beaches for whiting and dart. Jacks, flathead, trevally, whiting and a few cod in the Mooloolaba canals and the lower river rock walls. Whiting, bream and flathead to 69cm from La Balsa Sand basin. Cod, mangrove jack and and muddies from the upper Mooloolah.
Caloundra: Try for flathead, mangrove jack and a few mud crabs in Coochin Creek. The Flathead, whiting and bream from Golden Beach. Whiting and flathead throughout the Passage. Mud crabs will be feeding in all the creeks that feed into the Passage.
