Good conditions over the weekend particularly on Sunday. Today's conditions are looking real good, with winds east to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots becoming east to northeasterly about 10 knots in the late evening and seas around 1 metre. Tomorrow conditions will be pretty good, particularly early with winds north to northeasterly about 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon and seas below 1 metre, with swells easterly around 1 metre. So be ready to go, on Wednesday and Thursday this week there were a couple of windows of opportunity were some quality fish were taken on close in reefs! Noosa: Been some good bream, trevally and quality flathead around the 60cm size, from the river mouth, frying pan and in Woods Bays. Cod, jack and trevally in Weyba Creek. Mangrove jack and flathead between the lakes. A few mud crabs on the move throughout the river.
Maroochydore: Today's New Moon Phase has the fish on the bite through the weekend. Tarpon, cod, jacks, moses perch and bream around the motorway bridge. Mangrove jack in the creeks. Bream, jacks and flathead in the southern channel and from Cotton Tree. Mud crabs throughout the river.
Mooloolaba: Bream and cod from the boat moorings. Jacks and flathead in Mountain Creek. Jack, cod and flathead from the rocks bars in the upper river. Muddies throughout the Mooloolah River, particularly in the Kawana and Mooloolah canals.
Caloundra: Earlier there were banana prawns and mud crab in Coochin & Bell's Creek so it's worth a go. Mangrove jack, cod, bream and trevally in Pelican Waters canals. Whiting, bream and flathead along Golden Beach flats. Bream and sweetlip from Shelly Beach.
