Local Fishing Report: Friday 14/12/2012

Noosa: With the wind easing today try for a few mackerel in Luguna Bay and local reefs. Jew off the rocks at Double Island Point. Whiting and dart off Teewah Beach before the strong winds. Whiting, flathead and trevally in Weyba Creek. Flathead and trevally from the frying pan. Whiting and trevally in Woods bays.
Maroochydore: The Angler Almanac is predicting hot fishing over this weekend and the big tides have the muddies on the move. Big whiting in Maroochy Waters Canals and a few to 35cm from the lower river. Bream to 36cm from Bli Bli bridge and the Creeks. Jack overnight from Bli Bli and Petrie Creek.
Kawana: A few whiting along Kawana Beach. Dart and bream near Currimundi Beach. Sand crabs in the lower river. Whiting and flathead in the basin. Bream, trevally and jack from the rock walls. Big bream on soft plastics around the moorings.
Caloundra: Try for mackerel on the close in Caloundra reefs when the wind eases back. Trevally, a few queenies and jack in the Pelican Waters Canals. Queenfish, golden trevally and flathead in the channel south of Bells. Whiting in the top end of the Passage. Get the crab pots out there are a few on the move with the big tides.
