Local Fishing Report: Thursday 06/12/2012

Noosa: Snapper and mackerel from Sunshine Reef. Gold spot and Maori Cod from North Reef. Dolphin fish to 11kg from the northern end of the banks. Snapper and jew off the rocks at Double Island Point. Whiting and bream in Weyba Creek. Flathead and whiting from the frying pan. Whiting and trevally in Woods bays.

Maroochydore: Spotty and Spanish mackerel around the 3-5kg on trolled pilchards between Murphy's and Old Women Island. Whiting to 40cm in Maroochy Waters Canals and a few to 35cm from the lower river. Flathead and bream from Bli Bli bridge and the Creeks. Jacks from the creeks, Bli Bli and Maroochy Waters.

Kawana: Tusk fish, snapper to 4kg, amberjack to 5kg and red throat from the Banks. A few whiting and dart along Kawana through to Currimundi. Bream, trevally and jacks from the rock walls. Jacks, cod and school jew from Parrearra channel. Jacks and whiting up Mountain Creek reach.

Caloundra: Spanish and spotty mackerel from the 5 mile. Mangrove Jack in the creeks and Currimundi Lake. Several trevally and queen fish in the Pelican Waters Canals. Queenfish, golden trevally and flathead in the channel south of Bells. Whiting between the bar and Bells on the sand bars.
