There hasn't been much action lately however, Sunday is looking like the best day so far! Today east to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots with seas 1.5 to 2 metres. Then on Sunday, easterly 10 to 15 knots decreasing to about 10 knots during the morning, with seas to 1metre, is looking like reasonable offshore conditions.
Noosa: Trevally, flathead, bream, whiting and school jew at the Noosa River mouth. Bream and flathead in the Frying Pan. Whiting, mangrove jack and some excellent Flathead to 68cm from Weyba Creek and flathead, bream and school jew along the Tewantin reach.
Maroochydore: Dart, tarwhine and flathead along Mudjimba and Marcoola Beaches. Plenty of average flathead from the creek mouths. Whiting to 39cm between Chambers and Goat Islands. Mud crabs in the creeks. Some good jack in the creek and upper reachers.
Kawana: Dart and whiting along the beaches and trevally and bream in the upper reaches of the Mooloolah River. Bream and a few reasonable trevally feeding around the mooring. Jacks in the upper river and Kawana Waters. A few sand crabs in the lower river.
Caloundra: Try for bream and dart along the beaches and whiting off the tip of Bribie Island and at Bells Creek mouth. Trevally around the Coastguard Jetty and Bulcock Beach. Jacks and muddies in the creeks that run into the Passage. Queenfish and flathead around the boardwalk area.
