Offshore

Strong Wind Warning for Today for Sunshine Coast Waters, expect rough conditions with southeasterly 25 to 30 knots and seas 2.5 to 3 metres. So definitely fish in sheltered waters today.

Estuaries

Noosa: The rain has dirtied up the water, so the fish will be on the bite in the lower reaches. Big bream, plenty of flathead and the odd jew fish to 80cm from the river mouth. Trevally to 2kg and flathead in Woods Bays. Big bream to 40cm from the Marina. Bream and flathead along Tewantin ski run. Bream and a few mud crabs throughout Noosa Waters canals and in Weyba Creek.

Maroochydore: Trevally and jew to 83cm in the Cod Hole. A few solid bream and flathead from Picnic Point. Flathead to 61cm in Eudlo Creek, Petrie Creek, Bli Bli and Picnic Point. Whiting, flathead to 62cm and chopper tailor around Picnic Pt and in the canals. A few catches of mud crabs about.

Kawana: Bream at night off the rocks at Point Cartwright and around the moorings. Whiting, sand crabs a few muddies and flathead in the lower Mooloolah River. Giant and cale cale trevally around the twin bridges. School jew and big bream in Perreara Channel.

Caloundra: Squid off the rocks from Moffat heads and Shelly Beach. Tailor on pillies in the channel between the bar and Military Jetty. Whiting in Currimundi Lake and south of Bells Creek. Whiting to 38cm south of Bells Creek. Flathead from the NW tip of Bribie Island, Military Jetty and Coochin Creek.
