Noosa: The rain has dirtied up the water, so the fish will be on the bite throughout the lower reaches. The odd big tailor and trevally from the river mouth. Golden trevally to 71cm on Saturday and flathead in Woods Bays. Big bream to 40cm from the Marina. Bream and flathead along Tewantin ski run. Bream and a few mud crabs throughout Noosa Waters canals and in Weyba Creek.
Maroochydore: Quality bream up to 1kg yesterday feeding under the cover of the dirty water, off the Northern side of Chambers Island. Flathead from the creek mouths. Whiting and flathead around Picnic Pt and in the canals. Mud crabs on the ebb tide from Bli Bli and Petrie Creek.
Kawana: Bream and tailor at night off the rocks walls and the moorings. Whiting, sand crabs and flathead in sand basin. Giant trevally around the twin bridges. Mud crabs in the canals.
Caloundra: Bream, trevally in Pelican waters Canal. Whiting in Currimundi Lake and south of Bells Creek. Flathead from the NW tip of Bribie Island, Military Jetty and Coochin Creek.
Joe and Lachlan Bartosek did well for a dozen big bream up to 1kg yesterday morning, off the northern side of Chambers Island.
