Winds will be Southwesterly at 15 to 25 knots becoming variable about 10 knots in the afternoon with inshore northeasterly 10 to 15 knot seabreezes. Seas are 1.5 to 2.5 metres, decreasing to 1 metre during the morning, then decreasing below 1 metre around midday. Southerly swell at 2 to 3 metres, increasing to 3 to 4 metres offshore.
Noosa: Good catches of bream, flathead, whiting, trevally and tailor at the Noosa River mouth. Whiting along the Noosaville stretch. Quality bream from the Marina. Big trevally, flathead and grunter bream in Woods Bays.
Maroochydore: Bream to 30cm, quality dusky flathead and whiting to 37cm in the lower river, mainly around Goat & channel Islands. Flathead from Eudlo & Petrie Creek mouths and Picnic Point. Mud crabs still in the middle river and canals.
Kawana: Whiting and bream in the gutters south of Kawana. Big bream around the mooring on the incoming tide over night. Bream and a few tailor around the high tide from the rock wall. Whiting and flathead in sand basin. Mud crabs in the canals and around Kawana Way.
Caloundra: Squid off the rocky headland at Moffat and Kings Beaches. A few trevally on the high tide in Pelican Waters. Bream and whiting on the banks opposite Golden Beach. Flathead throughout the northern end of the passage. Bream and whiting in the lower end of Currimundi Lake.
