Sunshine Reef had pearl perch, tusk fish, grass emperor, Moses perch, painted sweetlip, gold spot cod, snapper and coral trout. Double Island Point had some good catches of gold band snapper, scarlet sea perch, moses perch, grass emperor, tusk fish, gold spot cod, frying pan snapper and spotty mackerel. North Reefs had pearl perch, Maori cod, venus tusk fish and snapper, moses perch, grass sweetlip and some quality pearl perch. Spanish, yellow fin tuna, plenty of cobia, and snapper off Coolum Reef. Cobia, wahoo, spotty mackerel from Caloundra 12 mile. Reports today, of schools of good long tail tuna and spotty and spanishon the inshore reefs north of Caloundra and some Spanish Mackerel off Coolum and Sunshine. Local yak angler Warren Norup put in a bit of time and distance on Sunshine Reef yesterday morning and was well rewarded for his efforts when this 17.5kg Spanish mackerel jumped his trolled bull bonito bait. Noosa: A few tailor up in the ski run diamond trevelly in the Woods Bay on a plastics. There's golden trevally to 61cm in the lower estuary. Cod, jack and trevally in Weyba Creek. Mangrove jack and flathead between the lakes. A few mud crabs still on the move throughout the river.
Maroochydore: Trevelly, flathead and queen fish and bream around the motorway bridge. Few good whiting and grunter in Eudlo Creek. Mangrove jack in all the creeks. Solid bream and mangrove jack in the Maroochy Waters Canal Reports of several good buck crabs throughout the river.
Mooloolaba: Bream, trevally and cod from the boat moorings. Jacks and flathead in Mountain Creek. Jack, cod and flathead from the rocks bars in the upper river. Muddies throughout the Mooloolah River, particularly in the Kawana and Mooloolah canals.
Caloundra: There have been good mangrove jack, cod, bream and trevally in Pelican Waters canals and in the creeks that feed the Passage. Whiting, bream and flathead along Golden Beach flats. Bream and sweetlip from Shelly Beach.
