Offshore: Good conditions mostly today with with a northerly chop with the winds northwesterly 10 to 15 knots turning north to northeasterly in the late morning and reaching up to 20 knots at times and seas around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by early evening. Tomorrow conditions will be pretty choppy to rough, with winds north to northwesterly 15 to 25 knots and seas 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres during the afternoon or evening. Got our bag limit of squire, some monster pearlies, a few scarlet sea perch, mulloway, venus tusk fish and moses perch. Cobia to 130cm, spotty mackerel, grass sweetlip and coral trout from Sunshine Reef. Big grass sweetlip from the Gneerings. Spotty and a few spanish mackerel and small snapper form Caloundra 5 mile.
Noosa: A few tailor around Double Island Point. Still catching trevally, bream and a few quality flathead in the lower river. Bream, mangrove jack and trevally in the Woods Bays. A few good whiting showing up from throughout lower river.
Maroochydore: There are schools of herring bait fish around Chambers Island. Trevally and bream from the Cod Hole. Flathead, bream and whiting from Chambers Island. Whiting and bream from Cotton Tree. Flathead to 84cm released and mangrove jack in Petrie Creek. A few mud crabs in the creeks.
Mooloolaba: Whiting from the La Balsa sand basin. Flathead on soft plastics in the Mooloolaba canals. Bream, flathead and trevally around the moorings. Mangrove jack and a cod from the Kawana Weir. Mud crabs in the upper river.
Caloundra: Whiting and some big flathead from Golden Beach. Grunter, bream and flathead south of Coochin Creek. Bream and trevally in Pelican Waters. Few sand crabs between the bar and Bells Creek, worth chasing a few muddies as well.
